PJ Jewelry's philosophy is to be always awake, ready to respond instantly to changes and trends in our business. We were founded from PJ Kong-bang and incorporated in September 1998.
In the advent of the IMF and the World Bank intervention in Korea, PJ Jewelry decided to export its products abroad rather than laying-off its employees.In the months that followed, we began to send our products overseas. Within a year we had earned over U.S.$10 million in exports. It was from this time that our name and brands started to be well known and respected.
In 2000, we established the original brand "Goldclick", which along with our well-organized and professional management team, made our company a trusted and sought after name in the marketplace. But we had no intention of sitting on our laurels. We have established challenging goals for ourselves for the year 2001, the most important being to increase our export base, improving skills development, heightening cooperation, raising the image of Goldclick chain-stores, producing more quality products, and registering on the KOSDAQ stock exchange.
By achieving these goals, we aspire to become a leader in the design, production and distribution of high-quality jewelry.
PJ Jewelry is growing, and yet we have only been involved in exporting our products since 1998. Initially we exported goods under our own company name, but soon after we became a partner of Samsung and our sales increased significantly.
At the end of 1999, we made our export line stronger by selling it alongside Samsung's line. Subsequently, we achieved record sales of US $15 million in the year 2000. Our primary export areas include the U.S, U.A.E, and Saudi Arabia, to mention a few. Our business is growing quickly, and along with increasing sales, clearly shows how our various designs and professional skills are well accepted in the marketplace.
